| CROQUET
is a fascinating game combining skill and tactics (not unlike those of snooker)
in a friendly environment; the game is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
New members are most welcome, with coaching provided for beginners. Sidmouth Croquet Club is situated in a beautiful location adjacent to the cricket pitch and overlooking the sea. We have four superb lawns which are open from April to October. There are no lawn fees so members can play as often as they wish at no extra cost. New members can borrow club mallets in their first year but from the second year are expected to purchase their own; all other equipment is supplied by the club. There are no special dress requirements other than "whites" to be worn for internal tournaments and matches against other clubs; Otherwise, all you need are flat-soled shoes. |
